Why stay here
272 rooms in the Futian central business district, with a large indoor pool, spa and the brand's usual full-service layout. Rooms are unusually generous in the bathrooms even by Four Seasons standards.
The most consistently delivered service in Shenzhen outside the Mandarin Oriental, at a materially lower rate. Guest ratings sit at 4.9 out of 5 across roughly 3,100 Tripadvisor reviews, which is a larger and longer-running sample than anything the newer hotels can show.

Before you decide
It is a competent city hotel in an office district with no view, no architecture and no reason to be there other than business — the Mandarin Oriental has taken the entire top of the market since it opened. Much of the written praise circulating about this hotel dates from 2020 or earlier. The Tripadvisor listing pages carry review ages of over 3,000 days in places, so the headline scores are not as current as they look.
Location. Futian District central business district, near the convention centre and the Futian rail link to Hong Kong.
