The character of the place

Why stay here

280 rooms over 28 floors in Futian, opposite the Convention and Exhibition Centre. Premier Kings run 55 square metres with a separate sitting area. There is a genuine outdoor pool with loungers, umbrellas, two hot tubs and a poolside bar, open 6am to 11pm. Rooms have been renovated.

The outdoor pool is the only one of its kind among Shenzhen's luxury hotels, and in a city at this latitude that is the difference between a business hotel and somewhere you would spend a Saturday. Gangxia metro is eight minutes on foot, the convention centre is across the road.

Make the stay your own

Rooms worth asking for

A renovated Premier King at 55 square metres, or a Design Garden View room if you want to face the pool rather than the convention centre.

Note the exact room or suite name before opening the booking provider, along with any connecting-room, step-free access or celebration requests.

At the table

Dining & the evening ahead

Multiple outlets plus a poolside bar. No Michelin or Black Pearl listing confirmed.

Request restaurant availability alongside your stay. Tasting menus, private dining and dietary arrangements should be confirmed separately.

Time for yourself

Spa, pool & wellbeing

A spa with private treatment rooms alongside the outdoor pool and hot tubs. Not independently rated.

Ask which facilities are included with your room, whether treatments require advance reservations, and whether any seasonal closures affect your stay.

Before you decide

Listings disagree on whether the hotel is connected to the convention centre or merely opposite it, which matters if you are working there in August. No Michelin Key, no Forbes Five-Star confirmed, and no starred restaurant — this is a very good hotel rather than a top-tier one, and the Mandarin Oriental is a clear level above. The building dates to 2008; the renovation covered rooms, not the structure.

Location. Futian District, facing the Convention and Exhibition Centre; 8 minutes' walk to Gangxia metro.

Prices are indicative, not live availability. Confirm the total including taxes, meals, transfers and cancellation terms on the provider’s checkout before committing.
