The best-known milk-tea house in Hohhot and the easiest single introduction to Mongolian food for a visitor: salted milk tea by the pot or thermos, Xilin Gol tagged lamb, Alxa camel meat, stone-roasted meat and a full spread of dairy. The Alxa camel-meat pie is what regulars order. Strongly ethnic-Mongolian decor, which makes it touristy but also legible.
