Not a restaurant but the way Qingdao actually eats. Yingkou Road is the city's biggest local seafood market, restocked from the fish market before dawn, and the beer houses on the surrounding streets will cook whatever you carry in - the sign to look for is 来料加工 (we cook your ingredients). You pick and pay for your own clams, prawns and crab, then pay the beer house a processing fee of roughly ¥10-20 per jin and drink bagged draft while they cook.
