Hanbazha Night Market, Kashgar Old Town

汗巴扎夜市

Not a restaurant but the single best eating stop in Kashgar: a street of stalls on the east side of the old town, across the road from the Id Kah Mosque, selling red-willow-branch kebabs, whole roast lamb, grilled fish, grilled eggs, tandoor pies, cold liangpi noodles and yoghurt-and-rice sweets. Busiest after dark and strongly local in feel despite the visitors.
