What to order

Point at the Chinese. Staff will understand it even where the menu has no English at all.

  • Sour-and-spicy cold noodles (酸辣凉面)
  • Pig's head meat topping (猪头肉)
  • Cold rice jelly (凉粉)

What it actually tastes like

Served cold, strongly vinegared and chilli-heavy. The name means 'pig's skull' and the standard topping is pig's head meat, which is fatty and gelatinous — ask for it without if that is not for you.

Allergens in this kitchen

sesamepeanutsoygluten/wheat

This is the kitchen, not one dish. Woks, fryers, blanching water and utensils are shared in almost every Chinese restaurant, so for a serious allergy treat the whole premises as the unit rather than ordering around it.
